Casey Donahew Band Benefit Concert

Hey everyone, I'm gonna start off by telling you about the Casey Donahew Band's Benefit for Hurricane Katrina. This event was held at Chrome Bar & Grill in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday September 9th, 2005. Everything kicked off around 8pm with a couple local acoustic acts from Fort Worth, sorry I can't remember there names but I think it was Brett Barkley. Then Kyle Bennett Band kicked it off on the outside stage and they Rocked, if you have never heard this band live then you better get off that couch and come see this band play sometime. (www.kylebennettband.com) is there web address. Oh by the way there debut CD comes out this week. Then back in the inside on the acoustic stage Michael Padgett (www.michaelpadgettband.com) did a fantastic job and even Dusty Deaton (www.dustydeaton.com) performed on his side and they did an acoustic song swap, both guys did real well. Then moving outside on the outdoor stage Casey Donahew Band performed doing there Radio Hit "Stockyards" plus a full set of other great tunes. Casey Donahew is another great band out of Fort Worth you need to check out. A real nice guy with a great big heart to set up an event like this, please everyone go check his web site out at www.caseydonahewband.com. Then after Casey Donahew everyone moved back inside to watch this new guy perform named Joey Green, one word to describe this kid "Talent". First time I ever scene this guy live and loved it. Don't let the afro fool you lol. www.joeygreenmusic.com is his web site go check this guy out. October 10th, 2005 he opens for Willie Nelson, this should tell you something. Well after Joey packed the inside everyone went back outdoors to see the Head Act "No Justice" another Kick butt Band that rocked. Ok everyone, this was my second time seeing these guys and like the first time they got on stage and had everyone eyes on them. If you like Cross Canadian Ragweed, then your gonna like this band. July 4th Weekend and now!

Hidy everyone, well sorry to the folks that actully read this thing for not updating in awhile. Well here is what we done Friday July 2, Me and Ty went to a lil place called Neon Moon in the stockyards for a lil bit .50 cent longnecks ya'll, then we went on over to The White Elephant and saw Brad Hines play and met this guy named Lucas Copeland he plays Bass for Kings of Texas. We hung out with him for a lil while then we all went to see Eleven Hundred Springs play at Billy Bobs, great show like always.
Sat July 3 we didnt do much went to Cowboys in Arlington and checked out Kazzi Shae, very talented singer, check her out.
Sunday 4 we went to the Willie pre show at The White Elephant Saloon that 95.9 The Ranch was putting on. Alot of great musicians were there like Deryl Dodd and Matt Martindale from Cooder Graw did an acoustic show, chated with Matt for a few before he had to get to the airport and fly to Houston. Jamie Richards did an acoustic set, Casey Donahew Band blew up the stage like always. Mike Mancy & Band tour the stage up, Eli Young Band & No Justice what can I say talented group of guys. We did get a chance to chat with Mike Eli from Eli Young Band, what a friendly guy. Greg Reichel came down from Oklahoma, he didnt play but we all sat around and listened to some great music. Then next door at the Bull Ring we heard some other great musicians like Ryan Turner, Ryan James, & Jordan MyCoskie...check these guys out talented singer songwriters. White Elephant also had some live music inside like Bonnie Bishop, Stoney LaRue, & Drew Womack. Stoney packed the house as usual, this was the second time meeting him "very friendly".
Casey Donahew introduced me to this guy named Jeff Havord from South First Band, can't wait to check these guys out.
We also walked down the road and checked out Kings of Texas, first time listening to them and wow these guys and sing FYI check out there single America Charlie Daniels plays with them on that track. We also chatted with Ed Burleson, so Ed for missing your show didnt know you were playing. Sunday July 4, no comment about this day. lol

Well the next weekend I didnt do nothing had my son.

Ok now this weekend Friday July 15 me and Ty went to Love & War in Grapevine to see Pauline Reese. This was the First Time she played there, and it wont be the last. Always enjoy listening to Pauline Reese sing. Sorry John that we didnt stay there to listen to the whole show but we had to get to the beer store before 12am.

Well last night me and Ty went to the Horseman Club in Fort worth, I'm not going to say what happend but wow.
Got home today around 2pm and I'm tired as heck.

Yellowbelly, Ryan Bingham, & Doug Moreland show

Hidy Folks, well me and Ty went on over to woody's tavern friday night to see Yellowbelly and Ryan Bingham. First time to see Yellowbelly perform on stage and I must say what a terrific band. Very nice guys we chatted for a lil bit before they went on stage. Look for an interview with these guys soon. They also handed me there CD "Bad Foot Down" to add to the playlist for you folks. The CD is GREATTTTT!!! Well when they where up on stage me and Ty was sitting back knocking off some Lone Star Beer when Doug Moreland walks in. This guy is great we chatted for a lil while about this and that. Then Ryan Bingham showed up and chatted with us for a few also. I had a couple extra TOSSM MUSIC T-shirts in the truck so I went and got them and gave Ryan & Doug a shirt, I hope there ware them lol.
Well anyways Doug played fiddle for Ryan that night Ryan Bingham did a fantasic job as always. Folks this guy can sing. Oh by the way Ryan is working on his new CD keep your eyes open for this. Doug will be on the CD. Met a couple guys that are crazy ass dudes lol, one of the guys was named "hey hey"this guy is f**king funny. Reset dude. They were Ryans buddys from fort worth. Well we are gonna hang out in Austin next weekend got invited to a party down there its gonna be a blast.

Well I'm gonna stop talking here, keep supporting LIVE bands, and buying there CD's. And keep supporting TOSSM MUSIC.

Hello Everyone

Hidy Folks, well it's been a couple months since my last post, but been real busy. Well let's see I want to tank all the folks that keep coming back to check out TOSSM MUSIC web site and also to all the folks that listen to TOSSM RADIO. Coming soon TOSSM RADIO will have a couple more DJ's playing our kind of music live. We also will be having givaways and such and we wont ask you for no money, just you listening is all we ask. 80% of the music being played on TOSSM RADIO was giving to us FREE to play for you all by the artist themselves or by there record companys. I hope you all continue to listen and help support these artist and buy there music.
Also when you get a chance take a look at all the interviews with musicians that I have done. There are alot of interviews, more then most web sites that I have seen. Theres always new interviews every month so keep checking back to see who will be next. Django Walker, Rodney Pyeatt, & Bobby Pinson will be posted soon.

Greg Reichel Gig in Arlington, Texas

Me and Ty went to see Greg Reichel last night at a place called Funagains in Arlington. First time we been there and the first time for Greg. It was a tough crowd, I guess none of the people knew anything about our kind of music. But oh well Greg did a damn good job anyways. Greg did alot of his originals plus did some Todd Snider, Jack Ingram, Tom Petty and more. This was the first time checking him out and damn this guy has some talent. If you have never heard Greg sing then you need to check one of his shows out.

Benefit Concert

Hidy everyone,

As I told you all before Cowboys Dancehall in Arlington, Texas is the venue that will hold this benefit.

The benefit concert will be August 7, 2005. We will have around 18 singers performing. Four on stage at a time picking and swaping songs. As of right now we have 11 artist booked. As soon as I get the whole lineup I will let everyone know.

Hello everyone, Well i just been told I have Cowboys Dancehall in Arlington, Texas to do my benefit Concert for Music Education in Texas Schools. I am working on booking the artist. I will keep everyone posted when I get the date and line up.

I'm pushing to have this benefit this summer. It will be an 18 and over event.

So anyways, I had alot of liseners tonight on my radio show. Just want to thank you that have listened.

I had to temporally stop TOSSM Radio. It will be back up as soon as I have a chance to sit down. If anyone would like to help out with www.tossmmusic.com & TOSSM Radio let me know. I need all the help I can get.

I have been working on this benefit concert to help raise money for Music Education for Texas schools. I'm still looking for an venue, and artist. I have a few artist lined up so far. I really would like to have it outdoors sometime this summer. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
